Facebook racked up 48 million unique people discussing the Golden Globes, Grammys and Academy Awards combined with over 155 million interactions, TheWrap has exclusively learned.

Over awards season, there were over 19 million Facebook reactions to posts related to the three shows, with “love” being the most-used reaction.

Last Sunday, Facebook tallied over 112 million views of Oscar-related videos on the platform. Facebook Live was the exclusive social streaming partner for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, in addition to ABC’s “The Oscars: All Access show.”

The Academy’s Facebook page video included a live stream of the red carpet, behind-the-scenes moments, a peek at what happens during commercial breaks and after-show analysis, creating a second-screen experience for viewers.

ABC NEWS was among the news outlets to use Facebook Live during the Oscars telecast, by giving viewers an interactive look at the Oscars red carpet. BuzzFeed also got in on the action, hosting a live after-show, while the New York Times shared live highlights. Entertainment Tonight, CNN, MTV and Entertainment Weekly also used the feature during the show.

Facebook Live has emerged as a serious player in the digital content space. Earlier this week, NBC News Digital senior vice president Nick Ascheim told TheWrap that he considered Facebook and Snapchat as some of his biggest competitors, despite being considered social media companies. NBC News is considered a traditional media brand.

Last summer, 14 million people tuned in to Facebook Live as a man attempted to climb Trump Tower with more than 80 news organizations using the product to cover the breaking event.
