OK, Trump, so you can take down CNN — but DOJ 3:16 says the FBI just kicked your a–.
On Sunday, the President of the United States gleefully tweeted out an altered video from a past WWE “WrestleMania,” in which he tackled Vince McMahon to the ground outside of the wrestling ring. In Trump’s version, however, McMahon had a CNN logo pasted over his face. Get it? That’s symbolism.
The social media post inspired a bunch of memes mocking the former “Apprentice” host, but Buzzfeed’s Jesse McLaren’s effort took the cake. The former “Colbert Report” employee shared what happened a little later at that same pro-wrestling pay-per-view, but he pasted the Department of Justice logo over special guest referee “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s head. Do we need to explain that metaphor?
